Ex mus brings Los Angeles-based experimental musicians Sepand Shahab, Colin Wambsgans and Mike Winter involved with the music venue the wulf. to Dallas in an event called “the wulf. in DFW.” This event will feature world premieres of a new composition by each composer featuring a string ensemble with electronics, electric guitar trio with electronics and video with electronics. The performance will involve performers from the University of North Texas and sponsorship by the Center for Experimental Music and Intermedia (CEMI) and the Initiative for Advanced Research in Technology and the Arts (iARTA). ex mus is quarterly concert series seeking to cultivate and establish the field of experimental music in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex. The concert is free but with a suggested donation of $5 for the visiting artist.
